Geneco’s parent company, YTL PowerSeraya, was one of the Energy Marketplace sponsors for the annual SIEW (Singapore International Energy Week) event held in late October 2018, organised by the Energy Market Authority (EMA). This year, the 10th edition of this event focused on advancing key regional energy initiatives and the strengthening of public-private partnerships.

YTL PowerSeraya’s CEO, Mr Chan Swee Huat, as well as Executive Vice-President of Retail, Mr Low Boon Tong, also had the opportunity to share more on the company’s green initiatives and sustainability efforts with both ministers from the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Minister Chan Chun Sing, as well as Dr Koh Poh Koon; alongside EMA’s Chief Executive, Mr Ngiam Shih Chun.

The event was well attended by global energy policymakers, investors and industry leaders, who gathered to discuss topics related to the event’s key theme of the year: Transforming Energy: Invest, Innovate, Integrate.
