Embark on a Family-Friendly Nature Trail within the Singapore Botanic Gardens

As climate change continues to affect our world, Singapore is also taking meaningful steps to mitigate its effects through the expansion of green spaces. With over 7,800 hectares dedicated to parks, nature reserves, and urban greenery, our little island has flourished into a ‘City in Nature’ – a significant step towards lower rising temperatures and building a more sustainable future for all.
Besides offering environmental benefits – these green spaces also provide valuable recreational opportunities for families, promoting both physical health and mental well-being. With more than 40% of Singapore covered in greenery , these lush areas serve as the perfect backdrop for families to connect with nature, explore diverse ecosystems, and create lasting memories.
In this month’s blog, we have highlighted a list of family-friendly tours within the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Singapore’s First UNESCO World Heritage Site, that provide engaging, educational experiences where your little ones can explore various plant species, understand their roles in the ecosystem, and learn more about conservation and sustainability efforts.

Tucked within the Singapore Botanic Gardens, and just a short stroll from Orchard Road, the Rain Forest Tour offers a quiet escape into one of the country’s oldest and most treasured natural spaces.
